Communications Consultant
Respond to Racism in Lake Oswego is hiring a Communications Consultant. The Communications Consultant is responsible for conveying the organization’s mission in RtR’s messaging. In collaboration with the Executive Director, the Communications Consultant will craft messaging and utilize RtR’s email, website and social media platforms to inform the Lake Oswego community about RtR events, relevant antiracist activities and opportunities for advocacy and antiracism related news in Lake Oswego and the region, as well as nationally and internationally when relevant. Applications due by August 31, 2024.

Increasing institutional attacks and mobilization against equity in general and antiracism in particular in Clackamas County mean we must be more intentional in our approach. Respond to Racism is building up our capacity to meet this moment in Lake Oswego.
In addition to aligning our approach and activities with our mission and theory of change, we are building out and activating five committees:

3) Community Building
4) Research and Data Collection
5) Youth Empowerment Coalition
