As part of Clackamas Community College’s Black History Month programming, the Cougar Leadership, Education, & Advocacy for Progress (LEAP) Office invites you to attend the upcoming Black Excellence Panel: Excellence is a State of Mind on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, from 11:30 AM–1:00 PM (PST). This hybrid event will be held both at the CCC Harmony Campus in Milwaukie, OR and via Zoom Webinar.
This dynamic conversation will explore excellence not as an unreachable ideal, but as an intentional, everyday practice. The panelists, who are members of our community, will share experiences around navigating stereotypes, overcoming setbacks, and embracing authenticity and resilience. The conversation will also examine the distinction between striving for excellence and falling into perfectionism—topics that resonate deeply with our college’s values of learning, equity, and belonging.
This event is free to attend and open to the public. Learn more and reserve your spot here.
