Join us for a monthly BIPOC Women’s Speaker Series in the Dunn Community Center at Mary’s Woods! Over the course of this series, we’ll hear from accomplished, local BIPOC women as they answer the questions “What is your story? What are your passions?” This free community event will be held at Mary’s Woods in the Dunn Community Center in Cascadia Hall, and live-streaming(link is external) will be provided by the West Linn Public Library. Please note that seating at the Dunn Center is limited and that Mary’s Woods requires all guests to wear masks.

Parking Information: Enter Mary’s Woods campus on Holy Names Drive. Take your first left into the large parking lot. Drop-off location in front of the Dunn Community Center on Mesnard.

We’ll be kicking off this series on Thursday, October 13, with featured speaker Bandana Shrestha, the new state director for AARP Oregon. Bandana Shrestha represents the interests of 506,000 members, and oversees the work of 7 professional staff and over 150 volunteers to advance AARP’s social impact mission for people 50 and older statewide. All are welcome to attend!

The BIPOC Women’s Speaker Series will continue through March (except December). Please save the dates: November 10, January 12, February 9, and March 23.
