DESCRIPTION:Join us at Echoes of Belonging Public Art Dedication to unveil 
 and celebrate the art installation from Sahara Defrees.\n\nEchoes of Belon
 ging will become part of the City’s permanent collection\, with Lake Osw
 ego Public Library selected as the site for the completed work. Created by
  artist Sahara Aylanna Defrees\, and developed through a collaborative par
 tnership between the City of Lake Oswego\, Respond to Racism\, and the Art
 s Council of Lake Oswego\, the installation seeks to acknowledge and educa
 te about the history of exclusion and racism in Lake Oswego and the region
  while inspiring a more inclusive future. Through interpretive panels\, in
 teractive elements\, and community engagement opportunities\, the project 
 invites reflection and dialogue\, fostering greater understanding and conn
